In other words, we will use active managers when we have a high degree of certainty that they can add value, after fees.

 

How we select investment managers

To suit each individual clients’ needs, our advisers create bespoke portfolios, using a carefully selected menu of investment managers.

To be on our investment menu, a manager must undergo rigorous due diligence, demonstrate a proven track record of performance, and articulate how their investment process - not luck or excessive risk-taking - drives their results.

We maintain continuous oversight, including frequent analysis of returns and comprehensive reviews to ensure these managers continually align with our standards, and what we expect for our clients.


5. ESG as a driver of risk and return 

We recognise that environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors can be an important consideration in contemporary risk management and may influence risk and return. For this reason, we seek to understand how investment managers approach ESG as a core part of our due diligence process.
