Workshop 1

In workshop 1 we'll help you to:

  • develop a clear business vision
  • learn how to translate your business vision for your stakeholders
  • establish clear responsibility
  • match your strategy to your growth objectives. 

Workshop 2

In workshop 2 we'll help you to:

  • Create a detailed definition of your ideal client and who you won’t serve.
  • Shape your client value proposition to delight and attract those clients you most want.
  • Recognise the untapped opportunities for referrals growth and develop a plan to capitalise on them.
  • Find opportunities to better cultivate a sustainably profitable client base with the right fees and services.
  • Share successes and pitfalls learned while executing M&A and understand the complete framework recommended by Macquarie.

Workshop 3

In workshop 3 we'll help you to:

  • Review your risk management governance approach to ensure it is designed and operating to support the creation, preservation, and realisation of business value.
  • Find opportunities to improve adviser productivity and effectiveness using the results from the pre-work survey.
  • Create solutions for critical operational challenges in your business using a systematic human centred design approach.
  • Identify the right efficiency strategies for critical tasks in your business and share successes and pitfalls with an outsourcing strategy.
  • Review your tech stack with guidance from the pre work survey results to ensure it is designed to give you the best chance to deliver on your chosen strategy.

Workshop 4

In workshop 4 we’ll help you to:

  • Develop a more robust talent management framework to better attract and retain quality staff.
  • Learn leading practices from Macquarie and your peers on how to shape a high performing culture.
  • Explore your options for fulfilling your business’s capital requirements.
  • Plan for succession wherever you are on the business owner life cycle.
  • Ensure you maximise and protect the value of your business asset by being investor ready.

The 2022 Satellite conference will be held later this year.

Propensity

The Propensity Project is a survey of an adviser firm’s end clients. Through the project we aim to uncover the propensity for clients to stay with, recommend, and do more business with the firm.

We'll be running the survey again this year however in the meantime, you can access resources from the most recent report below, including the report of all the findings.
