Congratulations on your new home loan. This is an exciting time, and we want to ensure you can set up your home loan the way you want to. You’ll find more information below on some of the most important things to check on your newly settled home loan.

Your checklist

  • Check that your home loan is set up correctly by looking at your account breakdown on Macquarie Online Banking or Macquarie Mobile Banking. On the account breakdown you can check your rate type (variable vs fixed), repayment type (principal and interest or interest only) and your loan purpose (owner occupied vs investment). Follow these steps:
    1. Select your home loan account in the account list
    2. Select I want to
    3. Select View account breakdown in the menu drop-down.
  • On the account breakdown page, you can also check how your offset accounts are linked to your home loan account. If you want to open more offset accounts, you can find more information on our Home loan offset accounts article. If you want to update or change the offset linkage or notice an offset account isn’t linked to any home loan account, please call us on 1800 007 722 (+61 2 8245 4383), 8am to 7pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday.
  • Check how your repayments are set up online. You can check your repayment amount, repayment method and due date in Macquarie Online Banking. To view this:
    • Hover over your home loan account in the account list
    • Select I want to
    • Select View Account details in the menu
    • Select the Repayment Details section.
  • Check that your profile has your current contact details. The fast and most secure way to update your address and email is through Macquarie Online Banking or Macquarie Mobile Banking. If you need to update your mobile number, please call us on 1800 007 722 (+61 2 8245 4383), 8am to 7pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday.
  • Take advantage of some our great online banking features including PayID, enhanced security and Macquarie Marketplace. With Macquarie Marketplace you have access to discounts of up to 10% on eGift cards to use at more than 50 stores including Woolworths, Myer and Apple.
