The following information has been provided by Chubb Insurance Australia Limited.
Notice
The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an ongoing situation. Chubb is closely monitoring guidance issued from leading organisations, including the World Health Organisation (WHO) and local authorities. Chubb is also tracking the progression of COVID-19 through its travel security and medical assistance partners.
To assess the policy response to COVID-19, Chubb has carefully considered government (Smartraveller) and other public reporting of this situation. Relevantly, on 11 March 2020 the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic.
As a result, Chubb have prepared a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to address queries from Card Members relating to their insurance. Please be advised that your policy will respond subject to your particular circumstances and the terms and conditions of your policy. The FAQ are a summary only, they are not an exhaustive list of the coverage, terms, conditions or exclusions in the policy. You should always read the Policy for full details.
Chubb encourage customers to submit a claim for consideration as each claim received by Chubb will be investigated and assessed in accordance with the facts of each case, the credit card you have and the applicable insurance terms and conditions under the credit card. Your cover will depend on the type of credit card you have and your individual circumstances.
Please refer to the below FAQs and for further questions, please contact our Customer Service hotline at 1300 791 804 or call 1800 055 268 from Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm.
Please submit a claim here.
